Stephen (owner and physical therapist) has been practicing physical therapy for 10 years in which he has gained valuable experience in orthopedic physical therapy. He was born and raised in Carmel, IN until attending undergraduate studies in Pensacola, FL. After achieving his bachelor’s degree, he attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He participated in an orthopedic residency program after graduation from Physical Therapy school where he gained extensive insight into evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries. He is certified as an Orthopedic Specialist. He has also obtained specialties in dry needling, IASTM, SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and functional gait assessment. He has treated a wide variety of patient populations ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. He specializes in treating the active population.

Elite Physiotherapy was founded in order to fill a gap in the care of the physical therapy patient. Too often in the rehabilitation world the patient becomes a number in a system and their needs go unmet or undiscovered. We are a cash-based physical therapy clinic in order to keep the patient front and center in all decisions. We are able to treat patients based on our expertise and clinical reasoning rather than stipulations implemented by an insurance company. Our philosophy is that physical therapy should be delivered in a one on one setting. Individualized care means that our patients will benefit from personalized treatments resulting in faster improvements and less time in therapy.
